Life Drawing [Alfred]

Sakura finally had some free time, between her work, her school and her internship at the local history museum so she turned towards her long neglected art. Granted, it had been neglected somewhat for a reason; it was difficult to draw when finished drawings started moving before your eyes, but still, she wanted to draw more, she loved it despite everything.

There was a life drawing class at the university that all students could sign up to if they wanted to, no matter if they were taking art or another class. So she had instantly jumped on the chance to practice her anatomy and art skills. Life drawing was always very expensive outside school, and since she had no friends that she would be comfortable asking to model naked for her, she had to wait until they came up at her university.

The class was set for a Friday afternoon, after normal lectures and tutor periods had mostly ended, and the only people in the school were those staying behind to do work or for projects or the sort. It was a light day in spring, and it was very warm. There was a good light, so it should make for some interesting drawings.

She wasn't the first person in to the classroom, there were already a couple of other students milling about. She didn't look at them, being too shy, and made towards a seat with a good view of the light streaming on to the window at the, currently empty, model's stool.

Alfred liked art. Not every type of art, of course, modern paintings weren't something he enjoyed or could claim he understood, but older paintings were nice to look at. He grew bored of those too after a while though. He liked comics and manga much better. Not to mention making art himself; he loved drawing superheroes.

So, when he heard that the art professor at the university was looking for someone who would model for cheap for a new class, he was more than ready to jump at the offer. All he had to do was sit around and let people draw his awesomeness and he would earn 5 pounds per hour! He would be an idiot to miss an opportunity like this. Deus Ex: Human Revolution, you had better prepare 'cause Alfred F. Jones was going to get you!

Nothing could come between him and the money for his newest video game, not even a minor detail the professor forgot to tell him: naked modelling. Now, a few years ago, Alfred might have burst into tears at the thought of being naked in front of a large group of people. These days, however, he was confident enough in his body to throw off his clothes in exchange for a video game.

That sounded kind of wrong, but you get his point. It wasn't like he was selling his body to the night. He was selling it to a bunch of young adults.

...That still sounded wrong. Whatever.

Pushing down his nerves and anxiety, Alfred walked into the room with a sunny grin on his face, the at-least-two-sizes-too-small robe he was given brushing the middle of his thighs with every step. Damn, he looked so gay. His peers would surely tease him if they saw. At least there were more female students here than male, which was both a relief and another source of stress.

"Hey guys!" He greeted the class, his grin unwavering. Was he supposed to undress now or wait for the teacher to tell him? God, he didn't know, so waiting was probably the best idea.

She took out her pencils, charcoals and chalks for sketches, and then lay them beside her, and set up her pad of paper. She hummed and stretched, waiting for the class to begin. Someone came in and said hello cheerfully. She looked up at him... she recognised him. They lived in the same building. They didn't know each other very much, but she certianly recognised him. He was wearing a white robe, and Sakura's eyes widened and she dropped her peincil. She was going to have to draw someone she knew naked? Sh-she couldn't!

She gave a small squeak and tried to hide her face. She should go.

...That was kind of anti-climatic. He received a few stares and he could have sworn he heard a giggle somewhere, but otherwise no reaction came from the class whatsoever. Were they this used to seeing guys naked? Or was he simply not attractive enough to warrant a gasp or something? Psh, no way, he was totally sexy and he knew it!

The teacher cleared her throat. "Class, this is Alfred F. Jones, who volunteered to be our model for the day. Please don't forget that this is only a pencil sketch, so no other method is allowed. Also, you will be drawing his whole and I mean his whole body. We'll see which parts you had a problem with and focus on that afterwards. Was that clear?" She waited for at least one nod of understanding, and after receiving one turned to Alfred. "You may take the robe off now, Mister Jones. And please stand on the stool and try to move as little as you can from now on."

The America nodded in understanding, saluting the teacher. "Yes, ma'am!" He stood on the stool and threw off the robe, hiding his nervousness behind a confident grin. He resisted the urge to cover himself and gave a two finger salute to the class. "How do y'all want me to pose?"

She took a deep breath. She was just going to have to get over it for her art, wasn't she? She had signed up for this class and she was going to do it. She was a very determined young woman, even when she was in a bit of a panic. Perhaps she could use this for blackmail purposes later? He hadn't expected to see anybody that he knew here, perhaps he would be a little embarrassed to show his friends.

The teacher smiled at the man, "Well, you need to do something that is interesting, but that you can keep up for a relatively long period of time without moving." She explained to him kindly. "Would you like a chair? She asked, taking a wooden stool from the side, "It will probably be more comfortable to sit down."

Sakura simply busied herself with her supplies, trying to arrange them the most organised and convenient way possible. She was embarrassed to look at him still, though she knew she'd have to get over it. She could turn off when she was looking at a stranger, she didn't have to think that it was a human body, it was just something she was drawing. But this model she had seen around, she knew what kind of music that he listened to, and what kind of clothes he normally wore. ...He was rather handsome though, he supposed, in a way. She wasn't attracted to him, she thought, but he was handsome enough to warrant a blush and embarrassment at the thought.

Alfred tried to go to his happy place in his mind, filled with hamburgers, video games, basketballs, baseballs, footballs, any kind of balls that weren't the ones being in absolutely plain view of a group of people...Damn, this wasn't working. He could feel his aorta carotis pulsing in rhythm with his heartbeat. He was sure the students could see his neck pulsing and hear his heart beating. He tried to be confident, he really did, but he couldn't stop the anxiety spreading through him, nor could he stop the slight blush forming on his cheeks, no matter how hard he tried.

Maybe they would think the blush was from the heat? But what heat? He was naked! Oh God...

When the teacher offered him a seat, Alfred could have kissed her. "Sounds good to me! Thanks!" He sat down on the chair eagerly, crossing his legs to hide his more intimate parts from view. He felt much better now. In fact, he finally had the courage to look around curiously. So this is what a college art classroom looked like. It looked just like the classrooms from the movies.

While looking around, Alfred caught sight of a girl from the corner of his eyes. She looked kind of familiar, although he couldn't see her face all that well, since she was staring down at her pencils. He thought he knew her from somewhere. Alfred stared at the girl and tilted his head slightly, trying to catch a glimpse of her face.
